What this policy covers
This policy describes how the Kammavar Cultural Academy handles information about people who visit this website or write to us through it.
It applies to this website only.
What we collect
If you send us a message through the contact form, we keep the name, email address, phone number, subject and message you provide, together with the language you were reading the site in and the IP address the message was sent from.
We do not ask for, and this website does not collect, any other personal information. There are no member accounts and no logins on this site.
Why we keep it
The details you give in the contact form are used to reply to you and, where relevant, to follow up on what you asked about.
The IP address is kept only so that we can deal with abuse of the form. It is not used to identify or profile visitors.
Visitor statistics
We count visits to see how the site is used. The counting is done by Cloudflare, the service that delivers this site, from the requests it handles: how many visits, which pages, from which countries and on what kinds of device. The figures are totals; no cookie is set for them, no script runs in your browser for them, and no profile of any visitor is built.
We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google search results. It places nothing on this site and receives nothing from your visit.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
We do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for.
We do not use advertising networks, and no analytics or tracking scripts run in your browser on this site.
Advertisements
The news section may carry advertisements. Each is placed by the academy itself, for an advertiser it knows and has agreed terms with, and is shown as a picture with a link, served from this site.
No advertising network is used. Showing an advertisement sets no cookie and tells the advertiser nothing about you. If you follow an advertisement's link, you leave this site, and the advertiser's own policies apply.
Cookies
This site sets only the cookies it needs to work, and one that remembers your language. See the Cookie Policy for detail.
How long we keep it
Contact messages are kept while they are relevant to the matter raised, and are removed when they are no longer needed.
Your choices
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will act on it.
